No visit to Cape Town is complete without a few hours at Kirstenbosch National Gardens. Well in our case we stayed for more than a few hours, it's just so expansive. We could have spent at least a half day there. After lunch at the gardens, we made our way to the Heart of Capetown transplant museum, at Groote Schuur Hospital. This was the site of the very first human heart transplant, performed by Dr. Christiaan Barnard in 1967.
